General Rules

General Rules

General Behavior - Way of the Warrior values our reputation on the server. The reputation we have is of a serious, mature raiding guild. Don't forget that you are a representative of Way of the Warrior. As such, we do not tolerate flaming, spamming, baiting, trolling, or other childish or insulting behavior in any public venue, whether it be forums, trade channel, zone general, or a pug raid. Do not try your luck on this.

We expect you to treat your GM, your raid leader, your officers and most importantly your guild mates with respect.  Everyone deserves to be spoken to with a level of respect.  We are all humans behind the curtain, treat others as you would like to be treated.

Gquitting - Leaving the guild for any reason will result in a complete wipe of your DKP. We don't like nor condone gquits, random officer gkicks excluded ;).

Raiding Rules
Always come prepared - Look up the fights beforehand so you know what to do and what to bring. If you're still unsure of something, just ask someone. At all times you should have appropriate potions, elixirs, foods, and flasks. 99% of the time feasts and flasks are provided for the raid, but if everyone happens to be out, don't be unprepared!
Raiding specs - You are required to raid with the spec you were originally recruited for. The only exception to this is if you get officer consent to respec for a certain night/encounter. If this gets abused, the privilege will be revoked. This also applies to PvP specs. We've told countless apps that PvP specs are worthless in raiding. They are. Don't do it.
EP/GP hoarding - This is seriously frowned upon. We can't tell you what to bid on and what to pass to your fellow raiders, but this is something we are aware of and we're reminding everyone that we don't like it. Seeing a real upgrade go to offspecs or DE because you're saving your EP/GP for that uber l33t helm or whatever really ticks us off. Don't do it.
Out of guild raiding - Raiding outside the guild on Zul’jin in instances that have lockouts (heroics not included) is prohibited unless otherwise specified or approved by officers, alts included. Pugging is allowed ONLY IF the guild did not run it as part of our regular raiding schedule. If we did run it but you sat or otherwise missed the run, too bad.
Wait list - If you're on the wait list, make sure you're available to come in. You can go farm or play an alt (stay on mumble), but if you're needed and aren't available, you're not getting EP. Going AFK without telling the raid leaders or officers is harmful to the raid and slows everyone down.
Raid Breaks - We take regular raid breaks. This is the time you should be taking a bio, getting a drink, or having a cigarette. At all other times you should be at your computer and ready to go. Obviously, there will be times when RL interferes with raiding. However, this should be the exception, not the norm. If something unforeseen does happen, tell and officer or raid leader, do not just afk in place.
Item Drops - The guild collects all items that drop in raids. Including, but not limited to, herbs, green items, mining veins, skinning (both engineering and LW) etc. These items are to be used for the officers discretion. Primarily, they will be used to sell to provide gold to cover the repair stipend allotted to members.  Or as enchanting mats that are provided by the guild for members.

Guild Ranks

Guild Master - Petriee
Officer - These are your class leads and other long time leaders in the guild. Officers also handle "GM" responsibilities if Petriee is not available.

Class Leaders – These are the people you go to first if you have an issue with a member, or anything.  If you are uncomfortable talking to your class lead you are encouraged to speak to another class leader or officer, if you are uncomfortable with all of those options you are encouraged to speak to Petriee.  Any one of these people should be able to, and willing to assist you with whatever concern you are having.
Ready - Full time raiders.
Reserve - Part time raiders.
Casual - Friends of the guild or former regular raiders that wished to stay on in a reduced or non existent raiding role.
Recruit - Those who are still on trial with the guild. This typically lasts a month, but can be longer or shorter depending on circumstances.

Legendary Items
Legendary items cost GP. 1500 GP for a main hand weapon/staff, 500 if there is an off hand weapon. If the item needs to be accumulated through drops, the GP is charged with the first shard you take. After that, you will have preference for all other shards that drop. Once you have accumulated the required shards, or are absent when one drops, another person will be chosen based on the following rules. If two people have partial shard sets, the first person to start their set will have priority until their set is complete.

Prerequisite #1 - Active member of the guild for at least 6 months (not including trial).
Prerequisite #2 - 85% lifetime attendance.
Prerequisite #3 - Contributing member of the guild.

Unclear winners - If no one meets the above criteria, the winner will be the person closest matching the criteria. If it is a tie, the winner will be determined based off of EP/GP.

Offspec Items
Offspec is anything that is not suitable for your regular raid role. Offspec items are awarded based on a random /roll, and are only awarded if no one has bid for primary spec. There is no rank priority given to offspec rolls.

Orb Craftables
Items requiring orbs that are obtained through guild raids are available for a GP cost. The cost of the orbs will be the GP value of whatever slot the item is used in. All mats, gems, and enchants materials must be obtained prior to requesting orbs. All full memebers (not recruits) will have access to them. The priority order for orbs changes based on demand. Please see appropriate threads in the crafting forums for more information.

Enchants
All raiders are expected to raid with the best possible enchants on all gear for their class. There is a difference between 8 and 10 stats to chest. Don't be cheap. The guild provides most of the enchanting mats needed.  Only exceptions to having the best enchants will be stated at the time.  Currently there are none.
